CharltonHeston1
The Hollywood legend and much loved actor of all time Charlton Heston sadly died at the age of 84. The Oscar-winning 1959 epic Ben-Hur actor sadly passed away at his home in Beverly Hills where his wife was at his side.

Charlton Heston is very well known for his historical epic roles and as a gun rights activist, the best film I have ever watched starring Charlton Heston has to be Ben Hur that movie is something you can watch over and over again and you will never get bored, it is edge gripping stuff.

Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston was President of the National Rifle Association; the actor had been battling Alzheimer’s disease in recent years. He was born John Charlton Carter (Heston was his stepfather’s name) on October 4, 1923, in Evanston, Illinois.

I could write about Charlton Heston all day long because the man was and still is a legend, he will be sadly missed but will always be in our hearts, we like to say to all his family and friends that our prayers are with you.

Matthew McConaughey rumored to star in Magnum P.I. movie?

Friday, April 4th, 2008

I know that the rumor of a Magnum P.I. movie has been doing the rounds for almost two years now. Well now there are fresh rumors, one of which is that Matthew McConaughey could end up playing Thomas Magnum an ex-Navy Seal who is now a P.I.

Although the idea of a P.I. walking around Hawaii wearing an Hawaiian shirt did not sound cool, I for one loved it. The best thing was his Ferrari 308 GTS that he drove.

A script is now rumored to be floating around written by Rawson Thurber, you know the guy who gave us Dodgeball. It is thought that at this moment Matthew McConaughey is now reading the script. Don’t expect Tom Selleck to make a cameo in the new Magnum movie, as he has feels that the role should just die out.

South Park: Canada On Strike: Aimed at the Writer’s Guild of America

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

It was only a matter of time before the guys from South Park Trey Parker and Matt Stone decided to have some fun over the recent Writer’s Guild of America strike. In the episode a song had been sung called South Park: Canada on Strike and they certainly went for the jugular.

Both Trey Parker and Matt Stone have not become members of any such union like the Writer’s Guild of America, however the pair had long ago negotiated a deal so that they get Internet profit-sharing. It is also a known fact that the two writers have a dislike for Hollywood creative elite; this includes both actors and writers.
