Solution for Age of Conan error code 103: Update did not complete
Tuesday, June 17th, 2008
A huge number of Age of Conan gamers were not very happy recently, as they were receiving error code 103: Update did not complete. Well it does seem as if there is a solution for this error, but that fix in itself has been causing headaches for some Age of Conan gamers. Many have not been able to get the fix to work properly, so one member from the Age of Conan forum has posted a guide to this fix.
Here is his guide to getting the fix for Age of Conan error code 103, it started with him getting failed with error 302. Here is what his answer was “So I deleted the RDB/RDBHashIndex.bin , and re-run AoC and it went and got it again, then it started patching.”
He then added “Check your patcher.log (should be in root folder of AoC) and open it in WordPad and go all the way to the bottom and see what file caused the patcher to hang and delete it before running the updater.”
So keeping it simple you need to go to your AoC Root folder, go to RDB Folder and delete the following file: RDBHashIndex.bin. You then need to run the patch again; this should then solve the problem.
It seems as if some people are still having a little trouble, one guy deleted the wrong file, and he now has to wait another 15 hours to download a 15.3 gig file. Just remember to take your time, as you do not want to make the same mistake as the person did above.
